I succumbed at long last..

I held out for as long as I could..but at last the bandwagon train came by with a noose to my neck and off I went to join the masses. That is to say I joined tumblr and twitter.

I find it hard to keep up with the every day social game with my work schedule and general tendency to hide when I'm not busying with being busy! But I have found it refreshing to feel a bit less the bystander and more the active participant (even if it is a terrible way to go about it, tisk tisk I know!).

As far as Tumblr goes. I have always been terrible at posting my sketches or found it cumbersome and tedious to do so on other venues so I will be using tumblr for posting sketches in addition to works in progress, process pictures (and tips) and the occasional dollop of what I am doing commercially these days! I hope you folks can join me for the ride. I am finding I enjoy Tumblr tremendously and love the way it is setup!

Also please feel free to ask me questions..be it art related or personal..I'll answer whatever I feel comfortable with answering ^^. I love sharing knowledge and giving tips and tricks from what I have learned artistically along the way...though I am prone to delivering advice with a cautionary disclaimer of "I really don't know what I'm doing so there is probably a better way to go about this than my mess!". But happy to share all the same!

Twitter is for everyday nonsense and the occasional outburst of pure sentimentality.
