A commission done for Kiburi. This was a latenight project for which I stayed up almost all night to cpmplete before the next day. I rather like the way this one turned out and I hope the person it was done for(shoka) liked it as well.
Shoka is woken by Kiburi by a playful tug on the ear.
This is simply NOT the image with which a person needs to find you. With so much Lion King stuff out, these days it's hard to say what is real and what is a copy.
When I first saw this picture, I was thinking "movie still". And I'm still left scratching my head after perusing through your gallery. You have so many avenues of style it's hard to nail down just what you're doing! But the closer one looks, and the more one looks, the more one can see a flow of originality and creativity.
Lion King inspired, but not stolen. That it looks so professional and that it could be from the next Lion King (or the first, second, third, etc) is a marker of just how good you are.
There are so many good pieces, that it's hard to say just what I like the most. From the weird reality of the lit hallway, to the Albino Tiger, to the little boy after 9-11, to the various LK pieces, and everything in between, I just can't pick one. But all of these pieces with the black borders... right out of the letterbox editions... You really ought to be in pictures. *chuckles*
And by the way, the anthro lion with the sorcerous staff and blue light? Rocks! Maybe that's my fav here. You pulled off what a great many artists have yet to conceive... a human like creature who is not human, but is not the creature either. No human in a lion suit, or vice versa that!
Bless,
k

If I cut my hair,
If I change my clothes,
Will you notice me?
If I bite my lip,
If I say hello,
Will you notice me?
Whats it gonna take for you to see
I want you to notice me,
I'll get you notice me.

" Do not let your mind dwell on the adversities that may befall you, for the worst of them is death, and if it be a good death, then the best fate of all is to die." The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
