started as a rough oc sketch but I wanted to clean it up and just..have fun with it..see where it went on its own without overthinking or planning it. I had fun and it was a good way to practice canines..which for those of you who haven't noticed, I don't draw an over abundance of XD! I think, though, they arrreee growing on me and I am learning a lot with each time I attempt to draw a wolf/fox/what have you.
I do welcome constructive criticism on any pieces I do, however if you do leave criticism please give me something helpful to work with instead of "this or that looks off"..that really aggravates me more than it helps me. We all have room to grow and improve and I am always excited at the chance to learn something new ! OH and if anyone has the names of any good books for canine references, please speak up; that would be very helpful! Thank ya in advance. The idea behind this piece is the wolf is waiting for someone, just who, I will leave to interpretation. The pedestal he is sitting on is a sundial and I did incorporate the symbols of the elements used in the film "the Fifth Element" because I adore that movie to bits and it has brainwashed me completely. Also I would like to thank some of the canine artists out there that kinda nudged me and inspired me with their beautiful rendition of canines (thornwolf, Dark Natasha, and Goldenwolf to name a few), without your inspiration I doubt I would have become so smitten with canines. I be supposing thats all for now! Size: roughtly 10x10 inches tools: mechanical pencil, q-tip on bristol paper (I LOVE MY NEW .3 mm pencil!! time CommentsWOW. SO STUNNING.
I looove wolves! C= -- This link shows you all my loves--you might end up on there...remember, if you do, it's a good thing! c: [link] Another very cool one. XD You do such a nice job with fur, I was a little surprised to see that you have advanced critique selected. I wish I could throw something helpful! But I don't see anything wrong with it. Although, I will say that to me, hiding all but one finger of the paw makes the end of the arm look incomplete, or hard to find. (Which I wouldn't all a critique really, it's more of an opinion).
Looks.. spectacular! -- AFKae, Kae-Bird, Kae-Bob, Kira, Cara, Caro, Boss, Kae, Kaelin'yFiae, Kae-Butt, Kaelin. Oh, that's beautiful!
This is one of your very best pencil artworks so far! I absolutely love it! Perfect anatomy and shading, hon! -- Ever met a Schnolf? - Tani [www.tanidareal.com] [My Fursuits] [WeuUkoo Wolves] Oh I see you dont draw canines to much. For a 1st try I think you did amazing. I think the right paw finger make it look not finish yet, only one finger is showing. x3 Thats the only thing I can find wrong here Balaa.
The 5th Element is another Sci-fi movie I just love like Star Wars. Thats a lot! -- lol But I like this emotion.... ¬_¬ |
