Artist's Comments

Merf playtime for me..haven't done one of these in a while so thought what the hey and just doodled it with no real direction or preconceived ideas on how it would turn out. Of course my scanner did the honor of munching on the image nicely. I'd like to try one of these bigger but I have this nasty habit of starting quite small. This one is on 8.5 x 11 copy paper.

Thats stunning Balaa, truly stunning, why is this in scraps? The detail is great, specially on the feathers. Nice one!

meh I didn't feel like sticking it up in the public eye, seems like not altogether many folks watch my scraps so in an odd sense it feels safe here XD.(if that even makes sense)

I really like the way the feathers seem to actually be a part of the tigers fur pattern. also the fact you've managed to get some texture into the fur is nice too. You should really do more of these, they look great :)

As for crits, hm, only thing I'd say is that the muzzle looks slightly twisted, as if it's a different angle to the eyes (as in, head is tipped sideways but muzzle isn't) It could just be me though, and it's not all that big a deal either, it still looks awesome :)

Ohh I see, that totally makes sense dont worry =P

Goodnes, that's stunning. Would love to see that worked up on day :) Not sure about the front legs but then, it's not like I could do better :giggle:
