Erm well first off this is a sorta thank you pic for the 70,000 pageviews that I just reached. THANK YOU ALL!

Secondly, it is an experiment and thirdly it is a break from commissions. I had soooo many failures yesterday that I decided to veer of course and choose a random old sketch and color it with no goals set, no ideas for color schemes, moods etc. I tend to research my projects heavily before I start, getting a very good idea of what I want to see in the end formulated from the get go...but sometimes that just gets boring and I wanna 'play'. So this was my play and a means to experiment with more 'loose' painting and not sooo detailed. All in all I had fun and it was a good way to keep smiling. I realize there are flaws in things but I didnt want to focus on everything being perfect...just free paint and see where it leads me.

So...the cheetah smiles at me.

**edit: URG tweaked it yet again..eyes were just not sitting right....last one..I dont want to touch this pic again x.x. Truly forgive the resubmit folks, I wish there was a way to make it so it wasnt sent to everyone again!**

wow this is wonderful. My teachers always tell me never to think what you're doing, just do. Paint with all you got and don't think about flaws. That always works:) Great work, Balaa :D

wow...this is really nice. At first I thought it was going to be jumping at me but this pose it much better :) The shiny nose, teeth and eyes...are just too much to handle so I must press the fav button. Whoo, I bet you didn't see that coming X)

It is really adorable, and the detail in the face is there, but not as strong as it tends to be. It is a really great effect when it comes to this picture, with some kind of semi-realism, with the smiling feline n_n The happy expression just makes me smile, this is a picture which can spread joy all around this community n_n

The amber colored and really bright eyes are very realistic, and they are like windows to another world, as the colors of them are so diffrent and so bright when compared to the rest of the picture. Somehwhere, no matter where one is, there is joy and happiness. The only thing which is to be done is to find it. It might take a while, but it will still be there for the one who searches for it n_n
