When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Lady of Light
(Thought I haaad uploaded this but apparantly I have not 10 points if you recognize who I modelled her after. That's right Galadriel from LOTR. There was one photo in particular of Galadriel that always stuck in my mind, and so I wanted to pay Galadriel Homage in animal form. I am rather proud of the piece, shortcomings and all. It is one I got rather attached to. Celtic knotwork..eh could use a lot of work...I was actually quite lazy with it and just freehanded it instead of lanning ahead. Details: tools: mechanical pencil, q-tip on bristol Size: 11x14 Prints: yes 8x10 prints 8$ US plus shipping, pm if interested Original: given away CommentsBeautifull!
-- "Music is the universal language of mankind" -Henry Wadsworth Longfellow I like to speak it! Mostly all day! ^^ "In the beginning, there was nothing. Then somebody with a clarinet came..." -conductor of the Dutch National Wind Ensemble I can't believe you put this in Scraps... This is gorgeous!
-- Be careful whose toes you step on today because they might be connected to the foot that kicks your ass tomorrow. All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day!! Is that a lotus blossom on her cloak, too? Or just similar to one? ^^
Lovely, though! I knew who she must be inspired by right away. -- .: Dragonflychaser .: [link] You didnt even have to say it was modeled after Galadriel. The second thing I saw after looking at this was.. "Ooh, she looks alot like a Lady Galadriel!"
Okay. Advanced Critique, huh? Well. The only thing I noticed is that the celtic knot sort of blends if with itself, maybe if that was highlighted or shaded a bit more? Other than that, it's perfect! |
