Artist's Comments

My 'fine art' work has been put on hold for some time, mind you not by choice but there you have it..life throws it's curveballs. So to keep my creative side from going insane, I have been trying to learn illustrator. This is one product, a personal logo for myself inspired by the spiral found inside of a nautilus shell. I affectionally call the end result 'citrus sea'.

This fantastical and practical design suits you well I hope. And we're sorry that you have to put your deeper more complicated workings on hold, but yes, life does have a way of doing that.

You mention a nautilus shell and I can see that, but there is more to the design than that. As such an artist delving into the forms of nature and imagination, you'll undoubtedly know different people see different things, but when I look at the whole I see a nice dandelion puff, the stem the L of your name. Whatever, it's rather cool. And your other buisness card designs are well worthy of printable efforts. I realize it may not be an actual attempt to do such, but hey, way to sell yourself.

Oh how wonderful, I love it when people share what they see with me. Now that you mention it, I see it too :)...and that idea certainly appeals to me. I have been trying to use more rich/punchy/summery colors in hopes that it will jog up my will to start creating again. It's not lack of ideas, but I'm afraid my hand will not cooperate with my mind...but I stay positive. I am sure I will be back to creating more art soon...nothing will be gained by being negative.

As ever, thank you for your insightful thought out comment. You always manage to string a smile across my lips.

I really like how simple this is. It's very creative and colorful; your color choices were a really good choice...I think it suits you. :) It looks really tropical. It kinda inspires me to make a logo too. Awesome work!

This is lovely! I like it a lot C: At first I thought it was a wave in a circle, which I thought was really cool. Waaaaave of imagination 8D But then I read the description and now I like it even more! You always apply the most interesting things to your artwork. Sometimes it's really unique stuff and sometimes it's pretty simple...but the end result is always lovely <3

Tell me what you got to break down the walls...you just might need dynamite.
